The Internet of Things (IoT) can be considered as a whole set of technologies which aimed at enabling resource-constrained and low-power devices to go online without any protocol converter. There may be dense communication traffic in the networks that contain this technology. This traffic causes congestion. Congestion significantly affects network performance and service quality. In this paper, a Java based controller mechanism has been developed to enable an orthogonal allocation of frequency channels to neighboring 6TiSCH networks. In the proposed mechanism, an increase is observed in the data transmission performance. The validity of the developed model has been tested using Contiki OS and Cooja simulator.
