Production, Import and Export Projections of Some Nonwood Forest Products (NWFP)

Özet

Wooden materials getting from forests have defined basic aim to our forestry policies until now, and all investments and applications intensified on this subject. But economical activities differences and competitions have got necessity to evaluate to all component and source of forestry field. NWFP's, which is not important because of some problems, should investigate and determine. In this study, walnuts, hazelnuts, chestnuts, almond and pistachio', which are important position in NWFP's, productions, import and export values period of 15 years were investigated using regression analysis benefit from last 20 years values. As a results, it was point out that, hazelnut values could be increased importantly, chestnuts export, walnuts import and pistachio production values has also increased, however almond production values has decreased. It was seen that all crops could be given direction to economy and regional improvement.
