Özet

Natural disasters affect life and nature badly; they cause irreversible damage, as well as serious injury or death. In this context, it is vital that the injured are responded to very quickly after a disaster and that first-aid activities are carried out without interruption. Medical supplies necessary for first aid should be delivered to the disaster area quickly and accurately, and the injured should be helped. Collapsed buildings, closed roads, and other infrastructure damage make it hard to reach disaster areas and delay the emergency response. With developments in recent years, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) technology has reached a promising level for the transportation of medical supplies. For this reason, among the different models of UAVs on the market, it is important to make the right decision about which type of UAV to use in disaster areas. In this study, the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy analytic hierarchy process and the interval-valued Pythagorean fuzzy VIKOR methods are proposed for the selection of UAVs to go between medical supply warehouses and disaster areas. After defining a wide hierarchy of criteria and carrying out expert evaluations, the most suitable UAV model is presented after determining the weights of the criteria.
