One of the most serious difficulties facing humanity is the need for a sustainable future. Maintaining nonrenewable energy resources for future generations is a main purpose of sustainability. However, for sustainable future, produced and consumed energy should support human development for all social, economic, and environmental dimensions. Cogeneration is one of key elements for sustainable future. The current work focuses on the use of cogeneration to improve sustainability.
