Özet

In this study, 32 mm diameter Y123 + %25Y211 (YBCO) samples and Y123 + %25Y211 + %20Ag2O (YBCO-Ag2O) solder materials were produced by applying the TSMG (Top-Seeded-Melt-Growth) method with NdBCO thin film seed. The three main YBCO samples produced were stacked on top of each other in the c-axis direction with YBCO-Ag2O solder materials and the welding process was performed. The welded sample was turned into a superconducting ring using a water jet. In order to determine the magnetic properties of the welded sample, magnetization measurements were taken from different regions of the sample and critical current density values were calculated. X-ray analysis and polarized optical microscope images were taken to determine the structural properties. Succesful single crystal samples were produced using NdBCO/YBCO/MgO thin film seeds for the growth process. In the obtained ring shaped sample, the silver containing welding regions exhibited more stable magnetization behavior compared to the main sample regions.
