Özet
Aim/ObjectivesThis bibliometric study aimed to examine the scientific landscape of psychosocial telehealth and tele-nursing research and to identify major publication trends, collaborative structures, influential studies, and thematic developments within the field.BackgroundThe integration of digital technologies into health care has transformed nursing practice and expanded access to psychosocial support services. Telehealth and tele-nursing applications have become increasingly important in mental health and psychosocial care, particularly following the COVID-19 pandemic. This study was theoretically informed by Rogers' Diffusion of Innovations Theory.DesignBibliometric analysis.MethodsData were retrieved from the Web of Science Core Collection database, including English-language articles published between 2010 and 2024. Following a multistage screening and eligibility assessment process, 625 publications were included in the final dataset. Bibliometric analyses were conducted using Bibliometrix/Biblioshiny and VOSviewer. Publication trends, citation structures, keyword co-occurrence networks, and international collaboration patterns were analyzed.ResultsFindings demonstrated a substantial increase in psychosocial telehealth and tele-nursing publications, particularly after 2020. The United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia emerged as leading contributors within global collaboration networks. Dominant themes included mental health, telepsychiatry, digital health, resilience, psychosocial support, and nursing care. Highly cited studies mainly focused on telepsychiatry, chronic disease management, palliative care, and elderly care. The findings further suggested that psychosocial telehealth research has evolved into a more interdisciplinary and globally connected field, although disparities remain in the representation of low-resource regions.ConclusionsPsychosocial telehealth and tele-nursing research represent rapidly developing areas within healthcare literature. Future studies should strengthen nurse-led telehealth interventions, culturally sensitive psychosocial care models, and equitable digital healthcare strategies.
