Özet
Providing real-time and deterministic communication capabilities to IEEE 802.3 Ethernet, IEEE 802.1 Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) allows traffic with different priority levels to be transmitted over a single physical network. One of these traffic classes, Audio-Video Bridging (AVB), is widely used for traffic requiring bounded end-to-end latency. IP Fast Re-Route (IPFRR) is a mechanism aimed at rapidly redirecting packets to a pre-calculated alternative path to prevent traffic disruption during link and node failures within a network. In this paper, IPFRR methods are investigated for the proactive recovery of single link failures in a TSN network. The impact of IPFRR on the failure coverage percentage in networks and the worst-case delay values on traffic flows is examined.
