Özet
This chapter examines how immersive technologies and artificial intelligence can enhance accessiblem tourism experiences for people with disabilities. Building on literature on tourism constraints and the tourism value chain, it first discusses physical, informational, communicative, cognitive, attitudinal, and psychological barriers that shape travel participation. It then evaluates the accessibility roles of virtual reality, augmented reality, extended reality, metaverse environments, robot- supported systems, and AIbased smart tourism platforms across pre- travel planning, on- site experience, remote participation, and post- travel feedback. The chapter argues that these technologies can support destination preview, realtime guidance, multimodal communication, personalization, remote access, and service improvement. However, it also emphasizes that technology should complement, not replace, accessible infrastructure, trained personnel, ethical data governance, and participatory design involving people with disabilities.
