This study was carried out on Degirmen (Taban, Agasak), Ipek (Beyaz), istanbul, Pamuk and Pathcan local fig cultivars grown in Northern Turkey, especially in the Giresun plain. Tn these cultivars, fruit weight, fruit diameter, fruit length, pH, total soluble solid contents and titratable acidity were determined as 40.40-65.00 g, 4.50-5.50 cm, 3.85-6.20 cm, 5.0-5.3, 15.1-21.0% and 0.14-0.22%, respectively. These cultivars were generally consumed fresh.
