In this study, it was investigated that the effects of plant spacing on some technological properties of plywood panels manufactured from alder logs. In the manufacture of plywood, it was used alder logs taken from five different plantation spacing (1x1, 2x2, 3x3, 4x4 and 5x5 meter) of Giresun (Erimez) and Macka (Yenikoy) regions. Some mechanical properties such as shear strength, bending strength, modulus of elasticity of the plywood panels were conducted according to TS EN 314-1, TS EN 310, respectively. Physical properties such as density were determined according to TS EN 323. As a result of the study, it was determined that the density and mechanical strength values of plywood panels increased with decreasing plantation spacing.
