Abstract

This study aims to select the most suitable car-sharing stations for electric vehicles (EVs). For this purpose, firstly, the main criteria that are decisive for this decision process were determined, and these criteria were weighted with the Best-Worst Method (BWM). The obtained criterion weights were used to determine the scores of alternative stations. These scores were determined using the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method. This integrated approach was combined with the developed multi-objective optimization model. Thus, the benefit was maximized, and the cost was minimized. This study effectively addresses the process of identifying EV car-sharing stations and contributes to urban sustainability and mobility goals.
