Abstract

Today, Lead has been commonly used as a radiation armour material. At this project, it is aimed to investigate that is possible to use the textile chemicals which contain antimony for the aim of radiation armour material too. It was experimentally determined by a preliminary study that some chemicals which contains antimony have high absorption coefficient. This project aims to design an alternative armor plating to protect from
radiation which is more ergonomic and cheper than leaden armor.
