Abstract
PURPOSE. TO evaluate the possible protective effect and mechanism of cu-tocopherol (vitamin E) treatment on lens degeneration associated with in vivo exposure to cigarette smoke and to further clarify the role of iron in cigarette smoke-generated lens damage.
