The article is devoted to comporative analysis of translation by stories of Russian writer Boris Yevseyev into the Azerbaijani language. Translation was done at the laboratory
" Problems of Translation" of Baku Slavic University by staff and undergraduates. The author dwells on some of the shortcomings, inadequacies of the transfer along with the
advantages of the translation.
