Özet

The results of previous studies showed that there is relation between climate change and vegetation. However, identifying the causes responsible for vegetation change remains a challenge. Terrestrial vegetation is dependent and sensitive to various natural factors and can reflect the effects of climate change within an abbreviated time [1]. Studies showed that the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) is important for studying land surface processes and climate change. A consistent correlation exists between the NDVI and vegetation biomass and dynamics [2]. Satellite observations, such as NDVI, allow estimation of the state of activity of mountain vege-tation. NDVI can effectively reflect the optimal vegetation growth status and is closely correlated with biomass [3] NDVI time-series data are important for regional and global ecological and con-servation applications. The purpose of this study was: i) to identify the impact of landforms such as elevation, slope, and aspect on vegetation index (NDVI) values; and ii) the impact of climatic fac-tors such as temperature and precipitation on vegetation.
