This randomized controlled pre-test-post-test study investigated the effect of a Positive Psychotherapy (PPT)-based psychoeducation programme on adolescents' achievement motivation. Fifty-eight third-year high school students were randomly assigned to experimental (n=29) and control (n=29) groups. The experimental group received ten sessions of "Success Skill Development Psychoeducation," while the control group received no intervention during the study period; the programme was later offered to the control group for ethical reasons. Following the intervention, the experimental group showed significant improvements in total Motivation for Achievement scores and in the "Expectation and Value" and "Belief towards Success" subdimensions (p<0.05). The findings suggest that PPT-based psychoeducation can enhance adolescents' achievement motivation and support interdisciplinary collaboration among psychiatric nurses, school nurses, teachers, and guidance specialists. The study was registered at ClinicalTrials.gov (NCT05316441).
