This case study aims to explore the creative pedagogical approaches of three different multilingual instructors each working at different universities in order to detect whether their L1/mother tongue and L2/ second language have a positive effect in terms of creativity on their teaching of L3/target language. In foreign language learning the language instructors should always act as a promoter therefore if they can adopt a creative multilingual pedagogy, learning can be greatly enhanced on behalf of the students. This study seeks to respond to research questions putting forward a three-dimensional model in which creative practice is seen as a product of the dynamic interplay between the multilingual instructors’ personal qualities, the pedagogy they adopt and the ethos developed in the class and school. Data coming from Multilingual Instructor Creativity Direct Observation Checklist, Field Note Form and Open-ended Instructor Questionnaire, all developed by the researcher, is to be analyzed through content analysis, a research method utilized for the subjective interpretation of the data by identifying themes or patterns, via NVivo 12 Pro Qualitative Data Analysis Software. In conclusion, multilingual instructors are aware of creativity in themselves and they try to foster a similar mindset in the learners. They are autonomous professionals and actively model their own creative engagement in the classroom and seek to nurture this in learners. They envisage the development of creativity and originality as the distinguishing mark of their teaching.
