Abstract

Objectives: Immunosuppressive treatment generally increases the severity of active infection. Therefore, liver transplant is contraindicated in the presence of active tuberculosis. Despite the importance of supportive treatment, liver transplant is the only treatment for fulminant hepatic failure.
