Abstract

The aim of the study was to determine the effect layer age and different plumage colors on external and itnernal egg quality characteristics of Japanese quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica). A total of 1,241 quail eggs at quail age of 12, 15, 18 and 21 weeks were used in the study. The eggs were gathered from quails with plumages in gray (common quail plumage), brown, white and golden.
