Abstract

The use of stereotyped rhetoric figures, such as dead metaphores, does not weaken the literary value of a text, as noted by some literary critics; on the contrary these figures tend to increase the literary strength. Modern rhetoric studies indicate that stereotyped rhetoric figures are functionaly more influential than creative figures.
