Karadeniz Biliş ve Bellek Araştırmaları Grubu
The Black Sea Cognition and Memory Research Group (B-COG) is a research platform established at Karadeniz Technical University to investigate the fundamental mechanisms of human cognition using experimental and applied methods. The group focuses primarily on information encoding, storage, and retrieval processes, along with memory illusions, forgetting dynamics, metacognitive evaluations, attentional processes, and the cognitive implications of human-technology/AI interaction.
Aiming to integrate experimental designs, cognitive tasks, behavioral measures, and advanced research technologies, our group seeks to generate high-quality national and international projects, support the development of graduate researchers, and translate fundamental cognitive theories into tangible societal and technological outcomes.
