The EcoHerp Research Group is dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge on the ecology, biodiversity, and evolutionary relationships of amphibians and reptiles. Our interdisciplinary research spans phylogenetics, conservation biology, ecotoxicology, and species monitoring, with a strong focus on understanding how environmental change affects herpetofaunal populations.
We are particularly interested in the role of amphibians and reptiles as bioindicators and in promoting their conservation through data-driven research. Our work combines field studies, laboratory experiments, and molecular tools to explore the complex interactions between species and their environments.
