Prof. Dr. Mehmet Demirci was recognized for his outstanding academic contributions in 2025 during an award ceremony hosted by the KTU Faculty of Science. Dr. Demirci received awards in three categories: the acceptance of his TÜBİTAK COST-2515 project, having the most Q1-ranked journal publications, and achieving the top Academic Incentive Score in his department.

The awards were presented by the Rector of Karadeniz Technical University, Prof. Dr. Hamdullah ÇUVALCI, and Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Ali TEMİZ. Dr. Demirci expressed his gratitude to the faculty administration and his research collaborators for their ongoing support in advancing high-energy physics research.
