Erhan Sesli was born in 1983. He received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University, Trabzon, Turkey, in 2005. After graduation, he worked in the private sector for several years as a telecommunications engineer, gaining industry experience in network infrastructure and communication technologies.
He pursued his academic career at Karadeniz Technical University, where he obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from the Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences in 2012 and 2019, respectively. His doctoral research focused on advanced optimization techniques for range-based localization in wireless sensor networks (WSNs).
Dr. Sesli's research interests include range-based localization in WSNs, optimization techniques, metaheuristic algorithms, and artificial intelligence applications. He is particularly interested in the integration of intelligent systems into real-world problems, such as intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and smart infrastructure solutions. His work contributes to enhancing the efficiency, accuracy, and adaptability of wireless communication and localization systems.
