Dr Ferhat Cagri Aras is an Assistant Professor of International Relations at Karadeniz Technical University in Turkey. With a keen interest in South Asian development policies and autonomous weapon systems, Dr Aras has conducted extensive research in these areas. His expertise also extends to regional policies and security strategies of Central Asian countries, particularly in relation to India. Dr Aras has been actively involved in fieldwork and case studies, focusing on regional development programs in South Asia and analysing foreign policy dynamics in both India and Turkey. His research contributions have shed light on the complexities of regional dynamics, emphasizing the inter-dependency of economic development, security, and diplomacy. Through his academic pursuits, Dr Aras aims to contribute to the understanding of regional cooperation and to foster stronger ties between South Asia and Turkey.
