Özet:Bu tezde esas amaç ? Modüler grubunun alt gruplarını incelemek ve bu konu hakkında detaylı bilgi vermektir.Birinci bölümde konu ile ilgili genel bilgilerden bahsedilerek literatürdeki bazı önemli tanım, teorem ve sonuçlar verilmiştir.İkinci bölümde ? modüler grubunun normal ve serbest alt grup gibi bazı alt gruplarının yapısı ve serbest çarpımla ilgili bazı önemli teorem ve sonuçlar sunuldu. The major aim of the present thesis is devoted to investigation of the subgroups of modular group and give detailed information on these groups.In the first chapter, general informations about the subject are discussed and proofs of some important theorems and conclusions in the literature were given in detail.In the second chapter, the structure of some subgroups of the modular group like normal subgroup, free subgroup and some important theorems and conclusions about free product are introduced.
