Biography

He was born in 1969 in Çaykara. He graduated from Çaykara Imam-Hatip High School in 1987 and from the department of Public Administration of the Faculty of Political Sciences of Ankara University in 1991. In 2002, he completed his PhD thesis titled "Turkish Language Politicies in Nation-Building Process (1839-1950)" in Marmara University Institute of Social Sciences. In 2003, Assistant Professor was appointed as Associate Professor in 2012. He started her academic life in Dumlupınar University in 1993 and continued her studies at Bilecik Sheikh Edebali University since 2007. He is still working as a lecturer at Karadeniz Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Public Administration. During this period, he was a guest lecturer for two years at Commersky University in Kyrgyzstan. Sadoglu focuses his work on the ethnic and national problems in the recent history of Turkey, the Balkans and Central Asia, centered on 'nationalism' and 'language politics'.
