Artificial Intelligence for Medical Imaging and Data

Welcome to AIMID (Artificial Intelligence for Medical Imaging and Data).

AIMID is an interdisciplinary research group dedicated to developing innovative solutions in medical imaging and clinical data analysis using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning methods. Our research covers a wide range of topics, including medical image processing, computer vision, clinical decision support systems, optimization algorithms, and explainable artificial intelligence.

We conduct research on the analysis, segmentation, classification, staging, and prognosis prediction of oncological diseases, particularly breast and prostate cancer. We also develop artificial intelligence-based methods for coronary artery disease, diabetes, and other health-related problems using clinical data and medical images.

We welcome collaboration with computer engineers, radiologists, clinicians, health sciences researchers, students, and all researchers interested in artificial intelligence in healthcare. We would be pleased to work together on joint research projects, national and international funding applications, graduate theses, and scientific publications.
