Yakup Emre CORUHLU is a
lecturer in the division of Land Management in Department of Geomatics
Engineering at Karadeniz Technical University (KTU), Turkey. He received PhD
degree with Management Problems and Solution Approaches on Protection and Development
of Foundation Properties titled thesis in 2013, and obtained M.Sc. degree with Investigating the Solution of
the Graphical Cadastre Problems: Case Study in Trabzon titled thesis in
2007. From 1999 until 2001 he worked for private surveying sector in which he
was mainly involved in some expropriation projects. Between 2005 and 2007 he
was research assistant. From 2007 to 2014 he worked as geomatics engineer at
General Directorate of Foundation and also was responsible manager of
foundational land administration.He is Professor at
KTU. His research interests are, land administration, cadastre, land registry,
land valuation, foundational real estate, design of Geographical Database-real
estate based, E-government, engineering education. He is married with two children.
