Biography
He was born in 1969 in Çaykara (Trabzon). After graduating from primary and secondary school in Taşkıran, a vilage of Çaykara (Trabzon), he went to Trabzon where he graduated from Fatih Secondary School and Biology Department at Karadeniz Technical University (KTU). After obtaining his PhD, he joined to KTU as an assistant professor in 2003. He is now professor of Botany at KTU, Department of Biology since 2013 and his current research are flowering plant diversify of Turkey.
